Farmers and elected representatives from Shivamogga district opposed the draft notification proposing to declare areas across the Western Ghats as Ecologically Sensitive Areas (ESAs) at an interaction on the Kasturirangan report with Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Saturday.
