As Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple consecration drew massive crowds, Madurai City Police and civic authorities rolled out comprehensive security, traffic, parking, and emergency management plans to streamline the influx of devotees. To regulate movement around the temple area, strict public entry and exit routes were established. Devotees who arrived from North Avani Moola Street were directed through Keezh Pattamar Street, East Mela Pattamar Street, North Gopura Street, and Thiyagi Thayammal Street to enter North Chithirai Street via West and South Gopurams.
