From The Hindu Archives, September 18, 1926: Under the auspices of the Students’ Economical Association the inaugural address was delivered yesterday evening by Prof. Jospeh France of the Presidency College, in the Senate House, with Dewan Bahadur T. Rangachariar, M.L.A. in the chair. The meeting was well attended.
