Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Deputies arrested an armed man Sunday outside Trump National Golf Club in Southern California, days before President Donald Trump's visit Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced.

Police in California arrested a man at US President Donald Trump's golf course in Los Angeles two days before Mr Trump was due to visit, the local sheriff's office said.

The 38-year-old man, who had been under investigation for robbery, was at the Trump National Golf Club in the Los Angeles area days before Trump’s visit, officials said.
