Former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton, who previously oversaw cryptocurrency regulation and the Ripple lawsuit, has been named by President-elect Trump to head the Southern District of New York's Department of Justice office, the same office that recently sentenced Sam Bankman-Fried to 25 years in prison.
