Heineken has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration in the United States regarding overpaid import tariffs, a spokesperson for the beer brewer confirmed following earlier reporting by NRC.The U.S. Supreme Court has declared a large portion of the import tariffs imposed by president Donald Trump unlawful. According to judges, Trump exceeded his authority by applying the Emergency Act of 1977. As a result of this ruling, many companies can now initiate lawsuits to reclaim money they paid unjustly.
