A fatal collision occurred Friday evening between a passenger car and a train at a railroad crossing on Nijkampsweg in Beltrum, in the Achterhoek region. According to ProRail, the incident is being treated as a suspected suicide.According to AD, the crash took place shortly after 10:00 p.m. on the railway line connecting Winterswijk and Zutphen. No injuries were reported among those on the train.
