Police want around 100 traffic fines written by a dishonest officer to be withdrawn, NOS reported. Over four and a half years, an Oost-Nederland police officer had reportedly issued tickets without having observed a violation. The officer was suspended in August 2024 and later fired on the spot. He is now scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
