The European Union (EU) has imposed sanctions on three individuals, including Colonel Saw Chit Thu, founder of Chit Linn Myaing Company and a member of the Border Guard Force (BGF), sources report. On October 29, the Council of the European Union added three individuals and an organization in Myanmar to the list of online fraudsters and approved further sanctions.
