The Labour Party, LP, has reacted to its inclusion in the list of candidates for the Enugu North senatorial by-election by the Independent National

The LP had earlier filed a lawsuit against INEC after the party alleged that its candidate for Enugu North District by-election, Simon Eze, was not included in the list of candidates for the by-election by the commission.

INEC had scheduled a by-election for Enugu North District for 20 June following the death of Okey Ezea, the senator representing the district in the red chamber.
