Chuck Redd canceled his Christmas Eve concert at the Kennedy Center in protest after President Donald Trump's name was added to the iconic Washington, D.C., venue.

Chuck Redd, who has toured with Dizzy Gillespie and Ray Brown, said he called off the event he has presided over since 2006 after hearing of the building's name change.

A planned Christmas Eve jazz concert at the Kennedy Center has been canceled.
