Monster Hunter: World Seamless Co-Op Mod Released
by John Papadopoulos · DSOGamingModder ‘huntardy’ has released a Seamless Co-Op Mod for Monster Hunter World. This mod will allow for a proper co-op mode. In other words, you will keep your party together through quests, Expeditions, story moments, and time back in town.
MHW had a very limited co-op mode. Players would launch a quest, watch a cutscene and the game would notify the host that they can now fire an SOS Flare. Alternatively, one player could leave their quest, go back to the base, and join the other player’s active quest via the quest board.
With this mod, you will keep your party throughout the entire game. They won’t have to use the quest board, and you won’t have to fire an SOS flare. This will save you some time. At the same time, it will make the co-op experience much better and more enjoyable.

Speaking of unofficial co-op modes, you can find similar mods for Yakuza 0, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and STALKER: Call of Pripyat. Modders have also enabled the co-op mode for Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Moreover, most of FromSoftware’s games have co-op mods. Thus, you can download ones for Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls 2, Elden Ring, and Armored Core 6. In June 2026, we also shared a co-op mod for Lies of P.
And that’s not all. The unofficial PC port of Super Mario 64 also has a co-op mode. In May 2026, we shared a co-op mod for Bloodborne, which PC gamers can enjoy via the PlayStation 4 emulator, shadPS4. Plus, there is a 16-player co-op mod for Subnautica 2. Finally, there is a co-op mod that you can download for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
