Super Mario Sunshine Unofficial Native PC Port Released

by · DSOGaming

An unofficial PC port of the Nintendo GameCube Super Mario game, Super Mario Sunshine, has just been released. This will allow you to experience Super Mario Sunshine on PC without the need to use an emulator. So, let’s take a closer look at it.

This native PC port of Super Mario Sunshine gives PC players many features that emulation does not offer. It supports Windows and Linux, with a simple launcher that handles setup, graphics, controls, and other options.

You can play at up to 8x the original resolution. The port also supports 2x, 4x, or 8x MSAA, FXAA, up to 16x anisotropic filtering, and sharpening. You can also install the UHD texture pack with one click. This pack replaces more than 2,000 textures. Not only that, but the port supports HD versions of all 21 movies.

Super Mario Sunshine can now run at 60 FPS while keeping its normal speed. You can use windowed, borderless, or fullscreen modes. It also supports widescreen displays up to 32:9.

One of the greatest features of this PC port is its camera options. Yes, you can use a keyboard and mouse to play it. This is something that will please a lot of PC gamers. You can also change the camera speed and use a free camera. Every key can be remapped, and Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, and other controllers work automatically.

The port even adds online co-op for up to eight players. You can also use game mods and a performance overlay.

You can go ahead and download the PC port from this link. As you may have guessed, it does not contain any in-game assets. To play it, you’ll have to provide your own ISO/ROM.

In case you are into unofficial PC ports of console-exclusive games, you might want to try the following ones. Right now, you can download the unofficial PC ports of Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Crash Team Racing, and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. You can also play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Perfect Dark, and Jak & Daxter. Yesterday, I shared an unofficial PC version of The Simpsons Game. And just a few hours ago, I shared the unofficial PC port of Peter Jackson’s King Kong.

Furthermore, Brian Tate has brought the three classic SNES Donkey Kong Country games to PC. For our SNES fans, we also have a PC port of Star Fox. We also got a PC port of F-Zero. So, since we’ve already gotten a few SNES games, I’d really love to see a PC version of Jurassic Park with KB&M support and HD textures. Now that would be awesome.

In September 2026, we shared a lot of unofficial PC ports. So, you can download and enjoy on PC Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link,  WET, The Darkness, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Mercenaries, GTA: Liberty City Stories, Fable 2, Burnout Revenge, Super Mario Strikers, and Lost Odyssey.

And that’s not all of them. We also have the unofficial PC ports of Mario Party 4, Sonic Unleashed, GoldenEye 007, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Silent Hill, and Super Smash Bros. 64. Last month, we shared the unofficial PC ports of Gears of War 2 and Syphon Filter. In August 2026, we shared the PC ports of Diddy Kong Racing and Ace Combat 6. Let’s also not forget the unofficial PC versions of Wave Race 64, Blue Dragon, and Pikmin.  Finally, you can download the PC ports of Ninja Gaiden 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 3, and Mario Kart Wii.

Stay tuned for more!
