Fallout: New Vegas Gets an Online Mod, Now Available for Download

Fall-Net Studios, a team of modders, has just released an online mod for Fallout: New Vegas, called New Vegas: Online. Thanks to this mod, players are able to explore the Mojave, role-play as a Brotherhood member, fight other players, and build their own empire. They can also join an empire created by other players and fight to conquer the wasteland.

New Vegas: Online aims to offer a smooth online experience while keeping the core Fallout: New Vegas gameplay intact.

The mod features fully working NPC sync, so players can see NPCs move and act in a shared game world. Combat is also synced between players. The team says it offers low latency with no hit-delay issues. This should make online fights feel fast and responsive.

Loot is synced as well. The system prevents players from duplicating items. It works in a way similar to the loot bag system in Fallout 76.

The mod also includes in-game chat. This lets players talk to each other without using outside apps.

New Vegas: Online also has moderation and admin teams. These teams can help manage the online world and deal with problems that may happen during play.

The mod also uses a Cell Sync System. This system is similar to the one used in Fallout 76. It helps keep the game world in sync for all players. It can also help prevent quests from breaking when players are in the same area.

Finally, the mod has full quest sync. This allows players to take part in quests together and keep their progress in sync.
