Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the 60th minute after recovering from a first-half penalty miss, before Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele doubled France’s advantage with a low strike from the edge of the penalty area in the 66th minute.

The victory sends Didier Deschamps’ side into the last four, where they will face the winner of Friday’s quarter-final between Spain and Belgium.
