Player ‘set to leave’ Nottingham Forest – Weeks, rather than months

by · Sport Witness

Willy Boly could be on his way out of Nottingham Forest in the winter market, according to Africa Foot.

The Ivory Coast international has lost prominence at the Premier League side. He played 446 minutes from nine games last season.

Nuno Espírito Santo overlooked him at the start of this season. Bolly played two matches under the Portuguese’s successor, Ange Postecoglou.

Nottingham Forest replaced Postecoglou with Sean Dyche in October, and the latter has left the 34-year-old on the bench.

Due to his current situation, his future is likely to be away from the English club. Africa Foot’s title says he’s ‘set to leave’ the Reds.

The centre-back has just over six months left on his contract. Within the report, it’s explained Nottingham Forest have decided against offering him an extension. It’s claimed he could even leave the Premier League side in January.

Bolly seems to be living his ‘final weeks’ at Nottingham Forest. His club situation has seen him make only one appearance for the national team since the start of last season.

The defender has to find a club in January to maintain a hope of making it to the World Cup with Ivory Coast.
