Newcastle United ready to finalise January exit – Players expects end of Magpies career

Newcastle United blocked Eintracht Frankfurt’s attempt to sign William Osula in the summer. That hasn’t put off the Bundesliga club as they are determined to sign him in the winter market.

On December 2nd, Sky Deutschland reported the striker has reached a verbal agreement with the German club.

Earlier this week, SportBild explained the player has agreed a contract until 2031, worth €2.5m per year. They also stated Newcastle United will have the final say on his possible exit in January.

Bild relay that and then provide the latest, when reporting on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Michy Batshuayi. He was initially expected to change clubs next month but that won’t happen after he suffered a foot injury.

Batshuayi’s situation won’t impact the Bundesliga side’s pursuit of the Newcastle United man.

Signs from England are ‘becoming increasingly clear’ that Newcastle United are ready to finalise the deal. The 22-year-old Dane also expects the move to go through in January.

According to the report, ‘talks are underway’ between Eintracht Frankfurt and Newcastle United to decide whether it’ll be a sale or loan with an obligation to buy, and the transfer fee. Bild states it should be around €20-25m.
