While he established himself as a regular in midfield, he never quite made a mark as the Elland Road side faced relegation that season. He didn’t receive the warmest of welcomes from frustrated fans and it was clear the two parties didn’t suit one another.

Despite the disappointing spell at Leeds United, McKennie is now keen on a move to the Premier League.
