Arsenal have concrete interest in signing – Gunners want player ‘technically not for sale’

Arsenal, Atlético Madrid and AS Roma are battling to sign Club Brugge’s Nicolò Tresoldi this summer.

On March 31st, we relayed news both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have made contact, and the striker is ready to change clubs for around €25-30m.

A month later, Sport Witness covered claims from Belgium that Arsenal are ready to offer €30m to Club Brugge.

Arsenal still keen on Tresoldi

The Premier League winners haven’t made a bid yet but maintain their interest in the 21-year-old.

That’s according to Het Nieuwsblad, who claims it’s their own information on the Gunners, Atlético Madrid and AS Roma.

The Germany U21 international joined Club Brugge from Hannover 96 in June 2025 and starred in his first season, scoring 23 goals and contributing nine assists from 53 games.

His performances have caught the attention of Mikel Arteta’s side and others. The Belgian club want to retain him at least for one more season.

The Serie A side want him to replace Artem Dovbyk, who is on his way to Genoa. Diego Simeone’s side have had Nicolò Tresoldi on their radar for a while and have already made contact.

Arsenal offer will be key for signing

The north London club have also shown ‘concrete interest’ in the Club Brugge star. The newspaper claims Arsenal, Atlético Madrid and AS Roma are all trying to sign the player, even though he’s ‘technically not for sale’.

As of now, none of the suitors have contacted the Jupiler Pro League side and there are no ongoing negotiations for Nicolò Tresoldi’s summer transfer.

Club Brugge’s stance to keep him for another season would make it complicated for the interested parties to sign him. However, these clubs have the finances to convince them.

In short, the Belgian club could soften their stance if Arsenal or another club were to submit a tempting proposal.

Het Nieuwsblad don’t mention the figure needed to convince them to sanction a move. It’s also logical Club Brugge haven’t set a price considering they have no plan to sell this summer.

Tresoldi has three years left on his contract and his value, as per Transfermarkt, is €25m. This is the highest value, and it has increased by €16m since June 2025.
