The duo announced their engagement earlier in August 2024 and have been preparing for their joyous union ever since. The duo's wedding festivities began with Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam. As per reports, the couple will get married on December 4, 2024. Just a week before their wedding date, the couple's family kickstarted their pre-wedding festivities with haldi and mangala snanam rituals, and Sobhita's looks from the festivities were swoon-worthy.
Sobhita Dhulipala glows in red at her mangala snanam ceremony
Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya's mangala snanam took palce on November 29, 2024. For the unversed, Mangal Snanam translates to 'Holy Bath'. Herein, the couple is bathed with holy water poured from vessels adorned with flowers and leaves, traditionally, the water would be collected from sacred rivers. For the day, Sobhita donned a red-hued silk saree with a golden motif work all over it.
Sobhita paired the saree with a full-sleeved blouse in the same hue. The saree had broad golden border and zari work patchwork. Sobhita paired the look with a gold choker, mangteeka, jhumkas, stacked bangles, and kangans.

Sobhita slipped into a stunning yellow-hued saree for her haldi ceremony. She paired it with an orange-toned update, which she took as a shawl. It featured vibrant golden zari work all over. Sobhita completed her look with bajubandh, mangteeka, jhumkas, bangles and a necklace. Sobhita tied her hair in a bun and looked happy as ever during the ceremony.

On the card, the wedding date was printed as December 4, 2024, along with the to-be-married couple's names. The card was a beautiful representation of the couple's unique style, featuring a blend of modernity and tradition in a pastel colour palette. The card had prints of hanging temple bells, brass lamps, a temple in the background, greenery and banana leaves, and a white cow, all adding to its charm.
