Authorities stated that only the final departure times have been adjusted, while the overall daily ferry schedule will continue to operate as usual.

The Yangon–Dala ferry fare was increased to 300 kyats per passenger starting September 1, 2024. The service, currently operating with three vessels, had previously charged 100 kyats per passenger before being raised to 200 kyats and later to the current rate.

The opening of the Yangon–Dala Bridge on February 6 has also improved connectivity between the two areas. In addition, YBS bus services are now running between Yangon and Dala.
