The Traitors Season-5 Contestants Are So Famous

Remember the first season of The Traitors, when they had to fill out half the cast with normies? Well, the cast of the upcoming season of The Traitors now has Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth, Lost star Dominic Monaghan, and sitcom (and Vulture) darling Casey Wilson, as well as Olympian Chloe Kim. Still, in the pursuit of the A-list, the show hasn’t forgotten its roots. There are Housewives (Salt Lake City’s Bronwyn Newport, Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant, and Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey), some Survivor players (Michelle Fitzgerald and Q Burdette), and, per usual, exactly one drag queen in Bianca Del Rio. Can Bianca be the first drag queen to actually make it to the end of the game? Hopefully Chenoweth will use her influence to protect her. Who wouldn’t get along with Bianca Del Rio?

The increased star power in the cast list shouldn’t be too big of a surprise. The show is not only an Emmy magnet but was enough of a hit that Peacock just renewed it for three more seasons, not including this upcoming one and the non-celebrity version. Undoubtedly, it’s a Peacock feather in the NBCU hat.
