2027 CAF Africa Cup of Nations: Where to watch all qualifiers
by Ayeh Offei-Akoto · MyNewsGh.comThe road to the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) PAMOJA 2027 will begin on Thursday, September 24, 2026, as 48 nations start their battle for 24 places at the tournament in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Matchdays 1 and 2 of the AFCON 2027 qualifiers will be played from Thursday, September 24 to Tuesday, October 6 as teams fight for places at the continental finals, which will take place from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
CAF’s long-term media rights partner beIN Sport will broadcast the qualifiers in the MENA region, including Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Djibouti, Mauritania, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Chad and Mauritius. It will also show the matches in France, Switzerland, the United States, the South Pacific and other territories.
In French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa, CANAL+ will broadcast the qualifiers in more than 30 countries exclusively in French.
CAF is also working with Free-to-Air (FTA) broadcasters across Africa to make the matches available to millions of football fans on the continent.
In Cote d’Ivoire, RTI will broadcast the match between the 2023 AFCON champions and Ghana’s Black Stars live.
Other African FTA broadcasters will also show matches on Matchday 1, including RTNC in the Democratic Republic of Congo, CRTV in Cameroon and Botswana TV.
Other broadcasters include SABC in South Africa, Azam in Tanzania, SNRT in Morocco, OnTime Sport in Egypt and RBS in Rwanda.
In Europe, selected matches will be shown by international broadcasters such as Ziggo in the Netherlands, Sport TV in Portugal, Movistar in Spain and DAZN in Germany.
