Dimapur, November 13: Nagaland ended Day-1 of their Ranji Trophy match against Mizoram with a commanding 363/3 at the Gokulbhai Somabhai Patel Stadium, Nadiad.

Put in to bat, Nischal Dega of Nagaland anchored the innings with a magnificent 145, leading the charge with confidence and precision. He was aptly supported by Chetan Bist, who remains unbeaten at 120*.

For Mizoram, KC Cariappa was the standout bowler claiming 2 wickets.

On Day-2 Nagaland will look to capitalize on their strong start, aiming for a substantial first-innings total. Mizoram will be hoping for quick wickets to disrupt Nagaland’s momentum and limit their lead.
