ZIFA pegs Warriors’ AFCON qualifier against Kenya at R50
The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has pegged the Warriors’ Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Kenya on Friday evening at R50.
· Nehanda RadioThe crucial encounter will be played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa.
Kick off time at 6pm.
Zimbabwe must avoid a defeat to qualify for the AFCON finals scheduled for December 2025 in Morocco.
They are currently second in Group J with eight points behind Cameroon who have already qualified for AFCON.

Speaking ahead of Friday’s encounter, Billiat said: “We are out here to give everything for our nation and we pray to God that we come out victorious.
“It’s a very important game. I think this is the most important out of them all. We are in a situation where everything is in our hands. It is something that we can control.
“We are going into this game knowing very well what’s on stake and we know very well that this is the most important game.
“At the same time, we are trying by all means to concentrate. We are trying as much as we can to concentrate and to be calm. We should be at our best on the day.”
All players that were called up by coach Michael Nees are now in camp except for Tino Kadewere who was ruled out due to a leg injury.
The France based forward injured his quadricep muscle when his club FC Nantes played Marseille recently.
