Peacock has officially released the first trailer for Crystal Lake, an upcoming prequel series to the iconic Friday the 13th franchise. The show stars Linda Cardellini and is set to premiere on the streaming service on October 15, 2026.

Set in 1971, the trailer opens on Cardellini portraying Pamela Voorhees, examining her life prior to the events of the original 1980 movie. The story charts her life following the drowning of her son, Jason, detailing her violent, revenge-driven descent. The ensemble cast alongside Cardellini includes Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, Phoenix Parnevik, William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom.
