Gunther Werks has officially unveiled the Gunther Werks Brundle Edition Turbo, an ultra-exclusive $1.98 million USD Porsche 911 restomod designed in collaboration with racing icon Martin Brundle and his daughter, automotive designer Charlie Brundle. The bespoke coupé celebrates Martin’s decorated career across Formula 1 and his 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans victory.

Constructed from the air-cooled 993-generation 911 Turbo platform, the donor chassis was stripped down and rebuilt with advanced composite engineering to achieve an overall curb weight of just 2,700 pounds. At its core is a newly engineered, Rothsport Racing-built 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six that generates 860 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque with a 7,500 rpm redline. Power is routed through a six-speed manual gearbox with custom ratios, backed by track-tuned double-wishbone suspension, an adjustable high-downforce rear wing, front aerodynamic canards, and Brembo CCMR brakes with forged billet calipers.

Drawing upon her styling background with McLaren Automotive, Aston Martin, and Jaguar Land Rover, Charlie Brundle created a hand-applied two-tone pearl livery directly influenced by Martin’s signature crash helmet. The car is equipped with one-off forged magnesium wheels inspired by the Brabham Grand Prix car he drove during his F1 tenure. Inside the cockpit, the carbon-fiber seats feature checkered inserts, bolster labels referencing his competition liveries, hand-signed dashboard end plates, and an embossed “MB” headrest monogram. Finishing the dash is Martin’s personal adage: “The most important bit of the car is the nut holding the steering wheel.”

The Gunther Werks Brundle Edition Turbo is limited to five units globally starting at $1.98 million USD, with each commission accompanied by an autographed Bell HP77 Formula 1-homologated helmet ahead of its public debut at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas. Inquiries can be placed directly via Gunther Werks.
