The IIHF World Junior Championships return this week, with the best under-20 hockey players from around the world facing off. The United States will host this year’s tournament, with hosting duties shared by the twin cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The U.S. will be looking for a three-peat, having won the 2025 and 2024 tournaments.

How to Watch the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship
If you’re looking to catch the tournament live, it airs on NHL Network in the U.S. and TSN in Canada. The group stage kicks off on Dec. 26, when both the U.S. and Canada will play. The quarterfinal, semifinal, and championship games will be held on Jan. 2, Jan. 4, and Jan. 5, respectively.
