According to The Hollywood Reporter, both actors will make their final appearance in the season finale, scheduled to air on May 7. With just a few episodes left before the finale, the show has already wrapped production, setting the stage for an emotional farewell.

Kevin McKidd joined the series back in 2008 during Season 5 and quickly became a key part of the show. Over the years, he not only played Dr Owen Hunt but also stepped behind the camera, making his directorial debut in Season 7. Since then, he has directed 48 episodes and is set to direct his final episode as part of the Season 22 finale.

Kim Raver, on the other hand, entered the show in 2009 in a recurring role before becoming a series regular. While she briefly stepped away after a few seasons, she returned in 2017 and has been a consistent presence since Season 15. Like McKidd, she also explored directing, helming three episodes during her time on the show.

Their exits feel especially significant because of how closely their characters have been linked. Owen and Teddy’s relationship has been one of the show’s most talked-about arcs - starting as Army friends, turning into lovers, and eventually building a family together.
