3 Oil Tankers, including Indian vessel attacked in Strait of Hormuz amid US-Iran ceasefire

New Delhi: Three oil tankers were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz in 24 hours, sparking new concerns despite the US-Iran ceasefire. Out of the three tankers, one was Indian origin.
Following the incident, one out of three caught fire after the attack near the Oman coast. The other one was damaged and the Indian vessel was also targeted.
The Strait of Hormuz is a key oil shipping route. Any attack there can hit global oil supplies and raise fuel prices.

The incidents have increased concerns over the safety of ships passing through the region and the possibility of renewed tensions in the Middle East.
The attack incident is not claimed by any group yet.
Further investigation into this matter is underway.
