Padraig McCrory and Leonard Carrillo weigh in ahead of ProBox event in Ireland
by BoxingScene Staff · BoxingSceneHeadliners Padraig McCrory and Leonard Carrillo both weighed in this afternoon (October 31) ahead of their 10-round catchweight fight on Friday (November 1) in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
McCrory, who typically fights at super middleweight and was stopped in six rounds by Edgar Berlanga in February, weighed in at 171.4lbs for tomorrow’s fight, while Carrillo, also a super middleweight, weighed 170.4 lbs. Both recorded weights are above the super middleweight limit of 168lbs and just under the light heavyweight limit of 175lbs.
As for other weights of note, Robbie Davies Jr scaled 146.4lbs for his welterweight fight against Javier Fortuna, yet Fortuna, a former world title challenger from the Dominican Republic, was a no-show at the weigh-in and apparently still has some weight to shift.
