Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream some of their owned games

Microsoft has announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now stream a selection of their owned games with Xbox Cloud Gaming.

If you're a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber and have always wanted to earn the Baldur's Gate 3 achievements on the go, now you can! Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users can now stream owned games with Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft has announced that a selection of 50 games, including Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, can now be streamed on supported devices.

Xbox rolls out Stream Your Own Game feature for Game Pass Ultimate

In a post over on Xbox Wire, Microsoft Ashely McKissick said, "Starting today, I’m excited to announce that we’re allowing Game Pass Ultimate members to stream select games they own through TVs and browsers on supported devices like smartphones, PCs, and tablets, in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is available." At the moment, this feature is not available on Xbox consoles or the Xbox app on Windows, but McKissick says it will roll out to consoles and the Xbox PC app next year.

At the moment, 50 games support streaming with Xbox Cloud Gaming, but Microsoft says this library of games will expand over time. Of course, if you want to make use of the feature, you will need to be an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber and actually own the game you want to stream. To access the feature on a PC, phone, tablet, or handheld using a browser, head on over to the Cloud Gaming website, sign in to your Game Pass Ultimate membership, and look for 'Stream your own game' to see which games you can play now and the other titles you can stream after they've been purchased. Here are all 50 supported games.
