Oliver Glasner makes Nottingham Forest claim as Crystal Palace look to end winless run

Crystal Palace are still searching for their first Premier League win of the campaign and Oliver Glasner has been speaking about the Eagles' form

Oliver Glasner admits he is unable to provide assurances over when Crystal Palace will turn their season around. The Eagles are still searching for their first Premier League win after seven matches and are hoping to escape a third successive defeat when they travel to Nottingham Forest on Monday.

For now they are positioned in the relegation zone and boss Glasner promises everything possible is being done to improve their situation.

“I was asked this question last season, ‘how long will it take to click’? And I said ‘I don’t know’. It’s the same at the moment,” the Austrian said. “But I can promise that every single player and all the staff are working really hard to get into a better shape, be more consistent and get results. This is what I can promise.

“Of course we will give everything we have against Nottingham Forest to get this win. We do our best to improve step by step, game by game, and get the results we want.”

Forest have yet to win at home this season but with two victories and four draws in the bank, they have otherwise made a fine start.

“Every Premier League game will be challenging and we prepare as well as we can. We don’t look back,” Glasner said. “We analyse, we try to improve day by day, game to game, but the mindset will never change, so we go there on Monday to get the win.”
