Premiership champions Celtic are weighing up a move for £8.5million-winger Raul Moro with Ajax circling for his signature.
Brendan Rodgers wants a wide man this month and are also keen on Sarpsborg wide boy Sondre Orjasaeter – who has a value of £7m. But the Daily Mail states it's now former Spain U21 cap Moro who is on Celtic's radar but they face serious competition from the Dutch giants.
Rodgers is desperate to retain his best players but he also wants to strengthen with the Parkhead side one win from the Champions League playoff knockout round. Luis Palma watched his move to Rayo Vallecano fall through, however, Celtic aren't slowing down in their search for a third option to challenge Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn to be a regular starter. But Ajax are lurking in the chase for Moro. Their signing guru Alex Kroes, speaking earlier this week, said: "We are interested in Raul Moro, yes. Moro can play on both the left and right wings."
