Rupert Grint (Harry Potter franchise) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars franchise) have been cast in Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol from director Ti West (X, The House of the Devil), Deadline reports.

Other new additions to the cast include Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games franchise), Charlie Murphy (“Peaky Blinders”), Arthur Conti (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice), and Ellie Bamber (“Willow”).

Johnny Depp stars in the title role alongside Andrea Riseborough (Mandy), Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings), and Tramell Tillman (“Severance”).

Written by Nathaniel Halpern (“Legion,” “Tales from the Loop”), the new take on Charles Dickens‘ classic 1843 novel will be released on November 13, 2026 via Paramount.

A thrilling ghost story set in Dickens’ London, the film follows one man’s supernatural journey to face his past, present, and future and fight for a second chance.

Sources say Grint will play Bob Crachit, Scrooge’s selfless employee, while Tillman is rumored to be the Ghost of Christmas Present.

Emma Watts is producing. Executive producers include Stephen Deuters, Jason Forman, Adam Bohling, and David Reid.
