With some teams still facing overmatched non-conference foes and others getting into the meat of conference play, the Week 4 college football odds feature a little bit of everything. Some of the biggest Week 4 college football spreads, via SportsLine consensus, include No. 3 Ohio State (-39.5) against Marshall and top-ranked Texas (-44) against UL Monroe in a game where starting quarterback Quinn Ewers (oblique) is questionable. Some of the tighter lines include No. 14 Oklahoma State (+2.5) vs. No. 12 Utah, No. 11 USC (-6) vs. Michigan and No. 6 Tennessee (-7) vs. No. 15 Oklahoma.

How should you factor those matchups and others into your Week 4 college football bets? Before locking in any Week 4 college football picks on those games or others, be sure to see the college football betting guide from legendary Vegas handicapper Bruce Marshall

Top college football predictions for Week 4

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 4: He's backing No. 14 Oklahoma (+7) to stay within the spread in a primetime showdown against No. 6 Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. It's the first conference game for the Sooners since moving to the SEC, so the crowd should be electric in Norman.

This line has moved substantially with Tennessee opening as an underdog and now favored by a touchdown and an extra point after the Vols' hot start to the season. However, Marshall notes that OU's Brent Venables has covered in seven of his last nine at home. Tennessee, meanwhile, hasn't been quite as dynamic recently in true road games, going just 1-4 ATS in 2023 in that setting.

Both sides are very capable of putting up plenty of points, and that's why Marshall is also taking the Over (57.5), which has also moved several points since opening at 61.5. See which other picks to make here
