UFC color commentator and podcasting giant Joe Rogan was hosting longtime music producer Scott Storch as part of his weekly “Experience,” where Storch lamented his inability to work with Canadian rapper Drake, one of the top names in the business.

What does this have to do with combat sports?

Drake regularly makes headlines for his awful UFC bets, which have since become known as the “Drake Curse.” His most recent flop came in the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, costing Drake $355,000 for betting on Tyson to emerge victorious.

“I want to get ahold of Drake and talk to him about his fight picks,” Rogan said on his podcast. “That motherf—ker loses more money on fights. I wanna call him up.”

Drake has also scored some high-profile wins in his betting career.

“I’m a cash money soldier like when Tune had the dreads at his shoulders,” Drake wrote on Instagram. “I passed up on offers you pussies would have passed out over.”

I’m old and lame and still listen to 80s hair metal so I have no idea if those are lyrics or he’s freestyling for his followers. Either way, it doesn’t sound like Drake is too broken up over his financial situation, which is considerably large according to a “net worth” Google search.

Whether or not Drake has any financial interest in the upcoming UFC 310 pay-per-view (PPV) event next month in Las Vegas, headlined by the flyweight title fight pitting Alexandre Pantoja (c) opposite Kai Asakura, remains to be seen.
