Welcome to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), "Man of Steel."
MMAmania.com confirmed with multiple sources today that The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 32 Middleweight winner, Ryan Loder, will fight UFC veteran Cody Brundage on March 1, 2025, at UFC Vegas 103, which will take place inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
No main event for UFC Vegas 103 has been announced yet.
Loder (7-1) was the favorite to win TUF 32 because of his high-level wrestling, and he did precisely that at UFC Vegas 96 when he stopped fan favorite Robert Valentin with brutal elbows in the second round (watch highlights).
"Man of Steel" is riding a five-fight win streak (TUF wins included), and his sole loss was to Troy Green last year on the regional scene.
Brundage (10-6-1) is coming off a no-contest against Abdul Razak Alhassan when he was hit with accidental elbows to the back of the head and could not continue. Before the no-contest, Brundage was submitted by Bo Nickal at UFC 300 (watch highlights).
Brundage will look back to get back into the win column, just like when he brutally slammed Zach Reese on his dome to win via knockout.
Loder and Brundage are two very good wrestlers, so while it would be fun to see who has the better grappling credentials, they will most likely strike because that's what always happens.
- The only two other fights announced for UFC Vegas 103 are Luana Carolina vs. Montana De La Rosa and Lucas Almeida vs. Danny Silva.
