Former UFC two-division champion, Conor McGregor, wants to make his combat sports comeback, assuming the promotion can scare up a “big butt nurse” to get “Notorious” into the DFSI testing pool.
Don't hold your breath.
“He’s not fighting anytime soon,” UFC CEO, Dana White, told Adam Glyn on Tik Tok. “I haven’t talked to him in a minute.”
Sounds like Connie was just drunk bored and fishing for attention.
Fight fans haven’t seen the 36 year-old Irishman in nearly four years. McGregor was expected to make his long-awaited return at UFC 303 last June, but a broken pinky toe sent “Notorious” back to the sidelines.
In his downtime, McGregor has partnered with BKFC, teased a run for President, and made several trips to the local courthouse. It’s hard to imagine the former lightweight champion coming back to MMA at this stage, unless he continues to lose money.
See you in 2026?
