Five Iron Golf Teams With Callaway To Offer Tour-Level Club Fittings
by Erik Matuszewski · ForbesFive Iron Golf, which has emerged as one of the most successful brands in the burgeoning golf entertainment sector with its cutting-edge indoor simulators and premium amenities, is strengthening ties to the broader industry by launching a new tour-level fitting experience in partnership with Callaway Golf.
Callaway Tour Fitting is being rolled out this month at Five Iron Golf’s 34 dynamic and socially driven locations, with all Five Iron coaches becoming Callaway Certified Fitters. The partnership introduces a premium, golf-centric experience in a much different environment from the traditional boutique fittings that are conducted on the range at golf facilities, at specialty club-fitters, or in select golf retail outlets.
Five Iron Golf becomes the first indoor golf brand to globally offer Tour-level fittings backed by certification from a top golf equipment manufacturer.
Five Iron Golf CEO and Co-Founder Jared Solomon said he expects the relaxed, welcoming experience to reshape the way golfers are fitted for equipment, whether they’re experienced amateurs or newcomers to the sport. The fittings are priced at $99 per hour and allow guests to try clubs over time under the guidance of a golf coach rather than a salesperson.

“Our mission has always been to make golf for everyone,” said Solomon, noting the Callaway partnership “brings that mission to life on the equipment side.”
It’s also a clear indication that Five Iron is fully leaning into the impact that an off-course venue can have on growth within the game. When it comes to traditional, on-course participation levels, research from the National Golf Foundation has chronicled how the number of golfers, beginners and non-golfers interested in picking up the game has increased in recent years thanks in part to the proliferation of engaging and non-intimidating off-course forms of the game.
Fitting for Everyone
“Callaway Tour Fitting is the pinnacle of club fitting — an elite-level experience with every premium shaft and head option available, designed to help great players dial in every detail of their game,” Solomon added. “But we also believe that getting fit is for everyone, not just elite golfers. For newer or less experienced players, it’s not only a smart step in their golf journey — it’s fun, approachable, and accessible without the intimidating price tag.”
Solomon said the goal is to create a low-pressure environment where players can find themselves the right equipment without feeling rushed or obligated to buy.
“We’ve eliminated the typical pain points of traditional fittings — impersonal sessions, rushed timelines, and sales pressure — because we’re focused on building long-term relationships, not just making a sale,” said Solomon.
The partnership also provides greater access for residents of a number of major metropolitan areas. Between them, New York, Boston, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Detroit currently have only one current option for golfers (or non-golfers) to go for a Callaway certified fitting. Those cities have nine total Five Iron Golf locations.
“Callaway Golf recognized how Five Iron Golf is evolving the world of indoor golf and entertainment, and we knew that together, we could change the game with how golfers are fitted and improve their equipment,” said Callaway Golf President Glenn Hickey. “As indoor golf increases in popularity, this is a massive opportunity for Callaway to bring its equipment and innovation expertise to Five Iron and their burgeoning community of golfers.”
