Peacock has granted Bel-Air, the dramatic-centric reimagining of the 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a fourth - and final - season. Debuting in February 2022, the series follows Will Smith's (Jabari Banks) complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air, California.

Per the logline, “as these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.”

News of the renewal comes ahead of the third season of Bel-Air, which drops on Peacock with the first three new episodes on August 15.

Bel-Air is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group and Westbrook Studios. Carla Banks Waddles serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer.

Peacock has not announced the number of new episodes order for Bel-Air. But 30 episodes produced in the first three seasons should indicate a final 10.
