2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 30 Match Preview – Basake Holy Stars vs. Aduana FC

Both Basake Holy Stars and Aduana FC will aim to return to winning ways when they clash in their outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture at the AAK II Sports Arena on Wednesday.

Holy Stars will be eager to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat away to FC Samartex 1996 and end a two-match winless run. The hosts currently sit 10th in the league standings with 30 points, and a victory could lift them into the top half of the table.

Rashad Musah and his side will take confidence from their strong home form, having lost just once at the AAK II Sports Arena this season. ‘Big Holy’ will be keen to make home advantage count once again as they look to secure another important result in front of their fans.

Aduana FC, meanwhile, head into the contest looking to respond to their frustrating goalless draw against Heart of Lions. While the ‘Fire Boys’ may no longer be firm title contenders, they remain in the hunt for a strong finish to the campaign.

They currently occupy 5th place with 46 points, ten behind league leaders Medeama SC, and a win on Wednesday could see them climb back into the top four depending on results elsewhere.

However, they face a difficult challenge against a well-organised Holy Stars side that has proven tough to break down at home. Aduana will need to show greater sharpness in attack than they did in their previous outing if they are to come away with a positive result.
