Medeama SC midfielder Fatawu Sulemana happy with return from injury after four-month layoff

The experienced midfield enforcer made his first appearance of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season on December 7, coming on as a substitute to help the Yellow and Mauves beat Berekum Chelsea 2-1.
Speaking ahead of Medeama’s next league fixture against Basake Holy Stars, Fatawu Sulemana noted that it feels great to be back from injury after his long four-month absence.
“It was a great feeling for me. After being out for several months, almost four months of not playing football, coming back and featuring in the Berekum Chelsea game, it was a great feeling for me. For me to be able to come on and help my team win the game, I was very happy,” the midfielder told Medi TV.
The upcoming fixture between Medeama SC and Basake Holy Stars will be played on Monday, December 22, and is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm at TnA Stadium.
Sulemana is confident the Tarkwa-based side will cruise to victory to secure all three points at the end of the contest.
