Swedru All Blacks coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has praised his players for their resilience and determination after securing a crucial away victory over Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League clash.

The visitors staged a spirited comeback to secure a hard-fought victory over the Eewo Family in highly competitive matchday 31 encounter, held at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.

After an evenly contested and goalless first half, it was the hosts who struck first, with Faruk Mohammed breaking the deadlock five minutes after the restart.

However, the visitors staged a strong comeback, with Rudolf Mensah and Zayat Bubakari scoring decisive goals to secure victory for the Swedru-based club.

Speaking after the match, the former Nations FC tactician eulogized his players for the hard-fought victory against Vision FC.

“I want to congratulate my boys for fighting hard for the win. We came here with a clear purpose—to win—and we were determined to achieve that. By God’s grace, we got the victory”

“Truth be told, we were the better side. In the first half, we created good chances but failed to convert them. After the break, I told my players to stay calm in front of goal and take their chances, and that paid off for us in the second half. I’m proud of the team for showing a strong ‘can-do’ spirit” he said.

The result sees Swedru All Blacks move level on 38 points with their hosts, while Vision FC’s five-match unbeaten run comes to an end with only their second home defeat of the season at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
