Former Ghana international Albert Adomah has admitted that his heart leans toward Aston Villa as two of his former clubs prepare to face off in the Europa League semi-finals.

Villa will battle Nottingham Forest for a place in the final, leaving the 38-year-old winger, who made over 100 appearances for both clubs, in a difficult position.

Speaking exclusively to Flashscore, Adomah did not hide his soft spot for the Villans. "I always keep an eye out for them because I live in Birmingham. So Aston Villa is still in my heart. I'm local, so I try to watch some of their games when I can, and I always look out for the results."

He also wished Forest well, acknowledging their struggles in the Premier League while hoping they avoid relegation. But when pressed for a winner, he laughed and admitted, "I prefer Aston Villa to win, if I'm honest."

Adomah, who now plays for League Two side Walsall, made history as the first player to record 100 EFL appearances for six different clubs, including Villa, Forest, Bristol City, Middlesbrough, QPR, and Cardiff.

His career has come full circle, but his bond with Villa remains as strong as ever.
