Antoine Semenyo has joined former England striker Andrew Cole in a rare Premier League scoring achievement after reaching double figures for two different clubs in the same season.

The Ghana forward has scored 10 goals in all competitions for Bournemouth and another 10 for Manchester City during an outstanding campaign in English football.

According to Opta, the only other player to achieve the feat for two Premier League clubs in a single season was Andrew Cole during the 1994-95 campaign, when he scored 15 goals for Newcastle United before adding 12 more for Manchester United after his mid-season transfer.

Semenyo reached the landmark after scoring the winning goal in Manchester City’s FA Cup final victory over Chelsea at Wembley.

The strike also made the Ghana international the first Ghanaian player to score in a men’s FA Cup final and took his total tally for the season to 20 goals across both clubs.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a strong first half of the campaign with Bournemouth before completing a January move to Manchester City, where he has continued his fine form under Pep Guardiola.

Since arriving at City, Semenyo has already helped the club win both the EFL Cup and FA Cup while also remaining in contention for the Premier League title.
