Swedru All Blacks coach Kasim Mingle says his outfit crucial away win over Vision FC is a major boost for their Ghana Premier League relegation battle.

The Swedru-based outfit secured a 2-1 away win over Vision FC in matchday 31 of the Ghanaian top-flight at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon, reviving their survival chances.

Faruk Mohammed broke the deadlock for Vision FC, five minutes after the recess, but goals from Rudolf Mensah and Zayat Bubakari were enough to secure maximum points for the visitors.

At the post-match conference, Kasim Mingle expressed that his outfit victory against Vision FC could prove vital in their bid to escape relegation.

“This win means a lot to us. It has really boosted our confidence heading into the remaining four games of the season. The players were a bit anxious because of our position on the league table, but this result has put us in a better position to fight relegation. It will give the team the belief and confidence to approach the rest of the matches positively.” He said.

The result sees Swedru All Blacks move level on 38 points with their hosts, while Vision FC’s five-match unbeaten run comes to an end with only their second home defeat of the season at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
