Cameroonian referee Etong appointed for Ghana vs Uganda U20 World Cup qualifier

Aline Marie Noelle Guimbang A Etong has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football to officiate Ghana’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

The Cameroonian referee will take charge of the decisive final-round clash scheduled for May 3, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

She will be assisted by Carine Atezambong Fomo as Assistant Referee 1 and Mireille Kanjinga Mujanay as Assistant Referee 2, while Innocentia Njang Ntangti will serve as Fourth Official.

Additional officials include Sainabou Cham as Match Commissioner and Latre-Kayi Edzona Lawson-Hogban as Referee Assessor.

The match will determine qualification for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, with Ghana hosting Uganda in what is expected to be a crucial encounter.
