Ghana forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer vows to give everything against Germany

Hamburger SV forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer has expressed his readiness to give his best for Ghana in the next friendly match against Germany.

Born in Berlin to a German mother and a Ghanaian father, the 24-year-old is hoping to earn a place in the final Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The winger is currently in the Ghana squad for their friendly matches in the March international break.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming encounter against Germany, Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer described the chance to feature in the match as a special moment for him.

He has assured supporters that if given the opportunity to play any part for Ghana on the matchday, he will give his best.

“Of course, it's a special moment for me. My mother is from Germany, my father from Ghana, but in the end, like the coach said I'm playing for Ghana. I'm proud to play for Ghana, and I will give my best. I'm of course a little bit nervous maybe it's the first time that I am going to play against Germany, but I will do my best, and I hope I get some minutes,” Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer said as quoted on ghanafa.org.

The friendly match between Germany and Ghana is scheduled to kick off at 6:45 pm on Monday.
