Swedru All Blacks head coach Kasim Mingle has described his side’s hard-fought victory over Vision FC as a major boost in their relegation battle.

The visitors staged a strong comeback to secure victory over Vision FC in matchday 31 encounter, held at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.

Faruk Mohammed broke the deadlock for Vision FC, five minutes after the recess, but goals from Rudolf Mensah and Zayat Bubakari were enough to secure maximum points for the visitors.

Speaking after the match, Kasim Mingle expressed that victory against Vision FC would boost their confidence as the team battle against relegation this campaign.

“This win means a lot to us. It has really boosted our confidence heading into the remaining four games of the season. The players were a bit anxious because of our position on the league table, but this result has put us in a better position to fight relegation. It will give the team the belief and confidence to approach the rest of the matches positively.” He said.

The result sees Swedru All Blacks move level on 38 points with their hosts, while Vision FC’s five-match unbeaten run comes to an end with only their second home defeat of the season at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
